Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Reporting Days: 245, 12 months
Compensation: Salary
Starting Pay: $60,000-$79,000, DOE;
Start Date: July 2024
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Education: Master’s Degree
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching and/or school leadership experience in a multi-cultural/diverse setting.
- Certification: Principal Certificate and/or Education Administrator License
- Background: Clear FBI background check
- Language: Strong verbal and writing skills in English, Spanish fluency preferred

Job Duties
Leadership Duties
- Provide leadership and support on adopting research-proven, standards-based, student-centered instructional practices
- Oversees teachers in creating coherency in instructional practices and routines within the school that model a growth mindset
- Assist teachers in effectively gathering and using relevant student data to improve instruction
- Assist the school leader as needed with student achievement goals
- Support the implementation of the Athlos behavior management philosophy that utilizes aspects of PBIS and restorative practices
- In collaboration with the school leader and leadership team, designs and executes a successful model of professional development
- Guide implementation and execution of teaching strategies and school-wide structures in accordance with the Athlos model
- Set educational standards and goals and help establish policies and procedures to carry them out.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to establish a culture of excellence that values the individual and embraces the group
- Serve as a member of the Crisis Management Team
- Prepare and submit budget requests and recommendations or grant proposals to solicit program funding.
Coach Duties
- Evaluate curricula, teaching methods, and programs to determine their effectiveness, efficiency, and use, and to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and maintain curriculum standards, lesson plans, and set performance goals and objectives.
- Create school improvement plans, using student performance data.
- Observe teaching methods and examine learning materials to evaluate and standardize curricula and teaching techniques and to determine areas for improvement.
- Model best instructional practices, strategies, and classroom management
Testing Coordinator Duties
- Coordinate state testing and accountability program.
- Manage all facets of achievement testing to include storage, security, inventory, ordering, scheduling, delivery and pickup, scanning, scoring, pre-coding, test disposal, testing modifications, printing of scoring reports, and distribution of scoring reports to schools.
- Provide appropriate training regarding test administration requirements for school audiences and curriculum and instruction staff.
- Operate state developed software to support the testing program.
- Attending all state and regional testing meetings.
- Conduct all required testing training for staff.
- Provide data reports on test results for admin.
- Assist with benchmark testing as well as progress monitoring

- Communicates regularly with school leadership and other faculty to maximize effective instructional activities.

Knowledge and Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Classroom and video platforms such as: Zoom or Teams.
